When not being your Stand Out Stand Up comedy trainer and Pitch2Punchline host and MC, Cam Knight is a comedian, actor, presenter and all-round 100 percenter. He’s regularly appeared on the Today Show, co-hosted Studio 10, can be heard as a weekly co-host on Sydney’s Triple M’s Merrickville and The Weekenders with Dan Ginane and has performed stand-up shows across the globe for 16 years. So, you know, he knows what he’s doing.

BATYR
STARTING POSITIVE CONVERSATIONS AROUND MENTAL HEALTH
batyr is a ‘for purpose’ preventative mental health organisation, created and driven by young people, for young people.
For every group of 30 young people in Australia, seven will be dealing with a mental health issue, and of these seven, only two will ask for help, leaving five suffering in silence.
Sadly, most young people dealing with mental health issues do not reach out for help, largely due to stigma. batyr exists to change this. We smash the stigma surrounding mental ill health and empower young people to reach out for support. We help create communities that support young peoples’ mental health and well-being. We engage by young people talking to young people about mental health and well-being. We educate through the sharing of young people’s lived experience stories. We empower young people by giving them the knowledge and skills to lead mentally healthy lives.
Our vision is for all young people to be engaged in positive conversations about mental health and empowered to reach out for support when needed and we are thrilled to be the charity partner for Pitch2punchline 2019, working closely to help fulfill this vision.
